Over the initial seven-day test period, the platform saw daily subscriber sign-ups averaging 280–300, signaling strong consumer demand and early revenue generation.
Early marketing efforts, spanning paid channels and partnerships with local telcos, are outperforming industry benchmarks, with Meta Ads achieving a click-through rate of 3.87% versus a 1.3% benchmark and Indosat SMS campaigns reaching 1.16% versus 0.5% typical performance.
HeroPlay offers subscribers unlimited access to over 600 premium HTML5 games, playable instantly on mobile devices without downloads, via daily, weekly, or monthly subscription plans.
Gross subscription value per subscriber is expected to range between 40,000 Indonesian rupiah and 75,000 rupiah monthly, with final margins to SportsHero estimated between 35% and 85%, depending on channel and payment method.
CEO Tom Lapping described the early results as "encouraging validation" of the platform and its multi-channel acquisition strategy, with plans to expand distribution, enhance retention mechanics, and selectively scale marketing channels in the coming months.
